My journey to makeup artistry began as a quest for the ideal experience with a makeup artist for my very own wedding day. After a difficult search, lack of communication and an unfavorable makeup trial experience, I decided to take things into my own hands.
I assumed the role of makeup artist and made up both my bridal party and myself on the big day. the general consensus from my friends and family afterwards was, “why don’t you do this for a living?”
That was when I realized, the experience I had been searching for was exactly what I had created that day myself. I had found my passion and from there, all it took was a few months before I started my LLC and began booking Makeup By Bailey for weddings, photoshoots and special events.
I know first hand what it’s like to be the client and I’ve used that situation to carefully create a personal, organized, committed and reliable experience for everyone I work with.
